Enniska kaierihaton (February Fourth 2013)

The world on February 4th, 2013 was a damn good place.  I speant the morning with Little Sister, Elder David Jock , Elder Archie, and a couple of other people at St. Georges Cathedral. I guess I summed it up pretty good on facebook “What a fantastic Day it was, Went out this morning and enjoyed some leisure time chatting with Elder David and Archie (You would be hard pressed to find two more caring elders who walk the walk not just talk the talk) The knowledge those two men share in normal conversation would fill library’s. all one has to do is open their ears and shut there mouths. After that went and participated in a K.A.T.C. meeting, then off for the afternoon to a session with Elder David, Sister Lisa Cadue and others for some Moccasin Making. All in all it was a superb day. Spent with the best of people”  I can’t say that I am a super artist making moccasin’s but I did enjoy it, and look forward to learning more.  The Kingston Area Taxi Commission Sub Committee Meeting on Accessable Taxi’s so that we can comply with the ACCESSIBILITY FOR ONTARIANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT, 2005 was one of the more productive ones we have had so far.  Started working on other pages on this site. So far have Native Roots   ,  Lynden Paul Marlin  and Rose Ann Marlin  up and with information on them, I hope to have many more up over the next 24 hours, and information on First Nations ties included in them.

  1. It sounds as though you’ve been happily busy!

  2. Mike Marlin says:

I am trying, I am usually happiest when I am busy, but keeping a balance in what I do is the struggle for me, It is so easy for me to go off on a tangent and forget all of my other commitments. LOL
